Spaghetti Cinema Event - England

Spaghetti Cinema is an annual film festival in Luton, UK, revolving around Italian genre cinema from the 1960s and 1970s. The theme for 2013 is the Spaghetti Western.

As well as screening classics of the genre, Spaghetti Cinema will be welcoming a number of special guests and speakers from around the world, including Professor Sir Christopher Frayling and cult icon Dan van Husen, who will be offering a Q&A session about his extensive experiences of acting in the genre. 
 
Thursday April 11th
17:00-18:40 - Navajo Joe / Un dollaro a testa (Sergio Corbucci, 1966).
19:15-21:30 - For a Few Dollars More / Per qualche dollaro in piĆ¹ (Sergio Leone, 1967).
22:00-23:50 - The Mercenary / Il mercenario (Sergio Corbucci, 1970).

Friday April 12th
18:45-21:35 - The Good, the Bad and the Ugly / Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo (Sergio Leone, 1966) introduced by Professor Sir Christopher Frayling.
22:10-23:40 - The Hills Run Red / Un fiume di dollari (Carlo Lizzani, 1966).

Saturday April 13th
17:00-18:55 - Death Rides a Horse / Da uomo a uomo (Giulio Petroni, 1969).
19:30-21:15 - The Great Silence / Il grande Silenzio (Sergio Corbucci, 1968).
21:45-23:35 - The Big Gundown / La resa dei conti (Sergio Sollima, 1967).
 
 
Spaghetti Cinema film festival is a celebration of the weird and wonderful world of the Spaghetti Western. 
 
Including rare 35mm screenings of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and For A Few Dollars More, this festival is sure to attract fans of the genre, as well as film enthusiasts discovering this wave of cinema for the first time in the wake of Django Unchained.
