Here is to 100 years of Lee Van Cleef and his body of well over 200 credits in film and TV combined. Here is one I barely remember seeing as at 12 or 13 year old boy. Lee in an episode of Fury!!!
All the best to Lee's fans across the world and to the most awesome person who's been maintaining this precious blog in particular. Lots of love from Poland. I've been his fan for a quarter of a century now and just today watched his movie The Magnificent Four of El Paso for the first time together with my dad (who's also a fan, obviously), and we both have enjoyed it tremendously. Those Italian westerns never get old.
So I've just realized (after having read one of the informative posts on here) that The Maginificent Four of El Paso is better known as Bad Man's River or Matalo. I'm also rather embarassed I didn't recognize Gina Lollobrigida! She is great in that movie, had a really neat role written for her. Lee plays a guy called King which I found quite fitting.
Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteThough he left us on 1989, his body of film and tv work is truly unrivaled.
ReplyDeleteThe Best.
ReplyDeleteLoved and never forgotten
