Most know Lee appeared on The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson to promote the series but I also saw Lee on The Today Show with Bryant Gumble promoting the series. I remember Lee telling Bryant that when the series went on hiatus, he would appear in a spoof comedy western which at the time would be titled Spaghetti Western.
