Location: Tabernas - Town of El Viento

 

The area known as Las Salinillas within the Spanish desert of Tabernas has been featured in countless Spaghetti Westerns, and many LVC westerns including The Big Gundown, Death Rides a Horse, Beyond the Law, and Sabata. 

In Death Rides a Horse, this area was the location of the town of El Viento.  The town was a set built specifically for westerns, although I am not sure if it was specifically built for Death Rides a Horse.

While the structures are long gone, the location itself remains very much the same today nearly 50 years later.
