While the majority of the Agua Caliente exteriors in For a Few Dollars More were shot in Los Albaricoques, the scene where Colonel Mortimer shoots a number of Indio's bandits was shot at a separate location on the coast of Cabo de Gata.
Also earlier in the film, the opposite side of this location is featured as the Alamogordo Prison, where Monco breaks out Poncho Sanchez to return to Indio.
