Cool pictures!! The second from the top was in several LVC obits from 1989. Alberto Grimaldi who produced For A Few Dollars More & Good, Bad & Ugly hired Lee for this and produced it. I wonder if it was his idea for Lee to dress very much like he did as Colonel Mortimer?
Alberto also produced "Last Tango in Paris" with Marlon Brando which kinda shocked Hollywood because after winning the academy award for best actor for "The Godfather", Brando rejected several state side offers & accepted this foreign film shot in France. Brando even speaks french for much of the film. Of course Brando hated awards & didn't show for the Academy Awards show & broadcast that year & had an Indian woman go up and slam people for the way native Americans were treated on live TV. STELLA!!!!!!
I think I remember reading his statue sat on a shelf at the academy for many years.
