Yes - it was a painting of my third wife Gwendolyn. We had words, which apparently led to a shoot out at high noon on Main, in front of the Dry Gulch Saloon. My memory is kind of hazy, but the sun was so bright I could barely make him out. Later on Dusty told me our six-shooters were loaded with blanks, which was just as well, since I had to catch the 2:00 Greyhound for Universal Studios for a 4:30 audition.
Did he paint a girl dressed in red sitting on the grass serving tea?
