  1. It's good to see the French press book. This is a low budget western filmed entirely in Italy. None of the familiar southern Spain backgrounds featured in most Spaghetti Westerns. But it's a neat little western with a great soundtrack that was reused in Kill Bill 1. I saw it as first run at the drive inn in 1974 or 5. I noticed Bill (Jackson) Carson from the Good, Bad and Ugly in the cast played by Antonio Casale. Actually Casale is only in the scene as an almost dead Bill Carson in GB&U when the runaway coach is stopped by Eli Wallach in the desert. The first time I heard of this film was a notice in Variety in 1972 it would go before the cameras in Italy and the title was "Showdown at High Noon". Apparently Lee flew to Italy for this soon after The Magnificent Seven Ride wrapped in California.
