When LVC is not LVC...

After recently watching The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly for the zillionth time, I realized that for whatever reason LVC used a stand in (or dare we say stunt double) for the reverse angle of Angel Eyes shooting Stevens.  See below-

The "replacement Lee" is indeed Romano Puppo who has doubled or appeared with LVC in as many as 8 film since The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.  Here is a photo of him with LVC during the making of the scene above.

 

 

Puppo would later appear onscreen with LVC as a member of Angel Eyes' gang in the last third of the movie.

 

 

 

In the coming weeks I will have a breakdown of all of Puppo's LVC film appearances.  He turns up everywhere!
