Arrow films have released their first trailer for Day of Anger, and the quality of the transfer looks pretty amazing.
While the complete list of extras have not been announced, per their Indiegogo website, here is what we do know about the release-
Our newly restored edition of Day of Anger will be a 3 disc set (1 Blu-ray, 2 DVDs) AND will include two different versions of the film! We are working hard on finalising the rest of the extras now so expect another announcement about these soon.
Looks promising!
Arrow continues an Indiegogo campaign to fund the US expansion, and for a $25 pledge you will receive a Day of Anger blu-ray/DVD combo in February 2015.

The picture quality look fantastic! I was very pleased several months ago when my new DVD of Big Gundown arrived and this looks to be as good. Still remember going to a downtown theater in November of 1969 to see Day of Anger when it was released theatrically in the United States and seeing it on the big screen was a thrill. Day of Anger, to me, came out during the absolute high point of Lee Van Cleef's long career: 1965 to 1970 and was his 5th Italian western. Lee was really on a roll in the late 60's and became one of the top 5 box office draws in Italy and firmly in the top 10 elsewhere in Europe. Bravo Lee Van Cleef!!!
