It was during this film that Lee decided he wanted to sing in a movie. Lee said in an interview that his old friends Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin sang in Paint Your Wagon so he wanted to sing too. So they let Lee into the recording studio in Madrid, Spain and he recorded two tracks for this film. Those also released on 45rpm records for his European fan club and Lee did a few more sides & they were released too. Suzy in the UK sent my an audio cassette copy of these recording but I can't find my copy now. ??? Then I read in the late 1970's in Billboard magazine that Lee Van Cleef was going into a recording studio in Hollywood and record a country & western album. Never saw a thing about it again but recently read something that these recordings were released but didn't go anywhere.
