Located near Madrid, Manzanares el Real was featured in several LVC westerns; including The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, The Big Gundown, and Captain Apache. Today the location remains mostly unchanged, despite the numerous housing developments surrounding it.
This entry will focus on the location as featured in The Big Gundown, where is appeared as the land the widow's house resided on.

Naturally, this will not stand...
...and they are shot.
The Widow arrives
The next scenes alternate between Corbett and the widow inside the house (which no longer exists), and Cuchillo outside, as the remaining widow's men plan an ambush. Corbett and Cuchillo manage to defeat everyone, leaving the widow alone on the land.
After killing everyone, Corbett rides off.

The area known as Las Salinillas within the Spanish desert of Tabernas has been featured in countless Spaghetti Westerns, and many LVC westerns including The Big Gundown, Death Rides a Horse, Sabata, and Beyond the Law.
While much of Beyond the Law was shot in Italy, a handful of sequences were shot in Tabernas. This entry will focus on a scene early in the film, in which the LVC character of Cudlip hides the money from a recent heist, and is introduced to Novack, played by Antonio Sabato who is searching for the money.
The location itself remains very much the same today nearly 50 years later.

The two meet, and an unlikely friendship is formed.
This entire sequence was filmed just below the infamous "tank cliff" from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. See pic below (click to enlarge)-
